A cheerful
Buddha of Plenty arrives with the promise of a long and happy life, his big
belly resounding with laughter. The "happy" or "laughing"
Buddha of Plenty, he is believed to bring good luck and happiness when his belly
is rubbed.
This is
a great little Buddha statue, and like all carvings imported by the Buddha of
Plenty, it has been made specifically for us on a Fair Trade basis - we are
a mass-produced free zone!
This Buddha
statue looks great as an individual centre-piece, but also looks good as part
of a set (see images).
