Djembe Drum - Spot Painted - 40cms

This is a lovely item, hand carved from a single piece of richly-grained hardwood, for a truly rich sound and the drum head follows tradition by being made from stretched animal hide (goat). Before being tuned, the wood has been intricately spot painted by the world famous wood carvers of Mas in Bali.

Whether used as a musical instrument (as intended!) or merely as a decorative item, This is a beautiful and skillfully crafted instrument, which would make a fantastic gift - particularly for yourself! And, like all musical instruments imported by the Buddha of Plenty, this Djembe drum has been made specifically for us on a Fair-Trade basis.
